There are now five designs in the Christmas card collection. Somewhere between 10 and 12 would be a wonderful number to reach, but we’ll have to wait and see!

We visited family at their new home in north Georgia recently. They have a wide spread of trees behind the house and a bubbling brook that could easily lull you to sleep. Among the trees, every few feet, were small holly plants and I imagined how beautiful they’d be when loaded with red berries.

They also gave us farm-fresh eggs, courtesy of their friend who raises chickens nearby. I had never cooked farm-fresh eggs before, so it was interesting to see the various shell colors from light-brown to dark-brown to sage green. Even the yolks were different colors from store-bought, mostly a deep orange. Delicious.
