Getting outside in nature isn’t just a luxury. It’s a must.
The fresh air. The quiet sounds of leaves rustling in the wind, or a deer crackling across the forest floor. The vivid colors and shapes and textures.
The life.
Nothing else recharges our souls the same way.
Nothing else fills my creative cup the same way…and it spills over into my artwork time and again.
If the thought of going to a remote place (or just your back yard) doesn’t excite you, I hope you’ll do it, soon, anyway.
You might be surprised by how alive you feel afterward. ♥
[Photo recently taken at Sawnee Mountain mid-morning, where I hiked with a friend. There were no other people at the top except for us, the lighting was incredible, and it felt glorious to simply exist.]
