On Friday I mailed out the first retail order for Copper House North. I’ve always celebrated the “firsts” in business and was so happy to package the order. It included two greeting cards: one a retro-style design with the hand-lettered message to “keep going”, the other a floral, vintage-style thank you card.
I wondered who would be the final recipients and what’s happening in their lives. It feels good to know your work is going to help lift someone up.
Over the weekend I was also made aware of logistical challenges USPS is currently having with a new distribution center in Atlanta. I’m a smidge nervous the package has disappeared into a black hole but am trusting it will get delivered, one way or another.
I think the words “keep going” are appropriate here: to encourage the one who will receive the card. To remind me to continue in my work.
And perhaps to remind the postal service to keep going, too. 🙂
