Changes to the same design, whether in medium or color, or both in this case, can have a dramatic impact on how its perceived. I re-drew the Christmas tree using opaque, inky layers. I also replaced the soft blue with gold, and introduced the creamy color.
Version 1 of the Christmas tree was delicate and calm. This one’s bold and lively.
One isn’t better than the other.
Just different.
